What are Exams of the Olympics?
The Science Olympiad Foundation (a non-profit organization based in New Delhi, India) conducts Olympiad Exams to encourage science, mathematics, general knowledge, computer training and English language skills among school kids. For learners from class 1 to 12, Olympiad tests are carried out on a very big scale.
SOF organizes 6 Olympiad tests each year:
(i) National Cyber Olympiad (NCO)
(ii) National Science Olympiad (NSO)
(iv) International English Olympiad (IEO)
(v) International General Knowledge Olympiad (IGKO)
(vi) International Company Secretaries Olympiad Olympiad (ICSO)
Importance of Olympiad Exams:
Olympic exams help recognize the ability and true potential of a child that can assist him better survive in today’s competitive modern world. They motivate learners to strive for a better and deeper understanding of science facts in order to improve their ability to reason, analyze and solve problems. They also carry out the regions that lack skill so that a correct orientation can be provided for improvement in this region.
