The Central Board of Secondary Education has shown strictly in the event of learners attending colleges. The Board has given a fresh instruction to the schools in this respect. Accordingly, the colleges will now have to provide the board with complete data about the students ‘ presence. In all matters linked to this, the Board will also make the final choice.
According to board representatives, after evaluating the 2019 outcomes, it was discovered that exemption was provided to kids with low participation and poor performance in CBSE exams. These kids had to prepare standard operating procedures (SOP) for this purpose.
A senior board official said,’ It has been found that the rules are not strictly adhered to by the students, parents, and school. Also, students do not submit the papers and certificates needed to receive a discount in attendance. At the same moment, the college does not report the absence of involvement to the CBSE. ‘
What laws need to be observed now?
According to CBSE authorities, it will be necessary to submit in all instances the request letter provided to the college by the parents, certificates issued by the corresponding authorities and associated school records.
Schools will have to compile the presence by January 1 in each academic session. It is necessary to identify less instances of participation. The instances will be sent to the CBSE Regional Office by January 7 with the papers.
Regional office will report any type of document shortage to the colleges. Then the schools will have time to do so. In this situation, the CBSE’s final approval date will be February 7.
What are the terms of the board beforehand?
- According to the guidelines, for a lengthy disease, for the death of the parent or for any other reason, domestic or foreign sports, students may be exempted from these normal operating processes.
- In Rule 13 of the By-laws Board of Examination, the CBSE was told of the students ‘ needed participation to be qualified to sit for the Xth and XII tests.
