CBSE 10th 12th exam fee: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) made it clear on Tuesday evening that SC and ST students will not have to pay the total amount of examination fees as before. The Delhi government will pay their fees as before. The Delhi government, however, did not make any comment until the news was written about it. The Board has taken this decision only with reference to Delhi. He has not said anything about the policy of the other states. It is to be known that in Delhi, SC-ST students had to pay only Rs 50 out of Rs 350 examination fee, the rest was paid by the government. However, before the board issued a statement, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal appealed to the Center to intervene in the fee hike by retweeting the letter from the Orissa Chief Minister on the fee hike.
On the other hand, CBSE Controller of Examinations said in a letter to the Education Director of Delhi that only Rs 50 will be taken from the SC and ST students of the capital and the remaining amount will be recovered from the Delhi government. Before this, the students’ data will be collected. He said that we hope that this will not only clarify the issue related to fees, but will also clear up the confusion spreading among our stakeholders. There is a possibility that Delhi government will clarify its position on Wednesday in this matter related to fees.
